“Summer Fest” Kenwood Marsh Checkerbloom Society Event To Benefit the Kenwood Marsh Restoration New Date: August 2nd, 2008 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM The “Summer Fest” will include an overview of the Kenwood Marsh Restoration Project, art show by Fred Parker, Deerfield wines paired with hors d’oeuvres by local chefs, live local music, a checkers tournament, auction, and display of Checkerbloom wine label art. Each ticket holder will receive a signed, limited edition print of the “Kenwood Marsh” by acclaimed, local artist, Fred Parker. Deerfield Ranch Winery is bottling an artist series of Checkerbloom label wine and the profits will be donated to the restoration effort. Local artists are invited to submit art inspired by the Checkerbloom flower for this limited edition wine label! Entries are due by July 31. · With a donation of $125 per person (or $200
per couple), you will receive one “Kenwood Marsh” limited
edition print (at the event). His fine art can be found in permanent collections throughout the world, including the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena and the Santa Barbara Museum of Art. Reproduced from an original oil, the “Kenwood Marsh” limited edition giclee print was created using 100% rag paper and pigmented inks – ensuring stability and vibrant color – and would retail for $200 each. All prints will be signed by the artist and individually numbered. |
